Pixels

Pixel to pixel spacing begins at an impressive 2.90 millimeters to create a display resolution of more than
118,336 LEDs per square meter.
Each millimeter of spacing supports one meter of viewing distance which means that the Series HB2.9 looks great from just 3 meters away.

Dimensions

The Series HB is a robust aluminum panel that weighs approximately
13 kilograms with XYZ dimensions of
1000 * 500 * 80 millimeters.
When we convert those numbers to the Exchequer Standards of 1825 that works out to 39 * 20 * 3 inches
and a featherweight 29 pounds.

Viewing

Display brightness levels extend from 1100 cd/m² to 5000 cd/m².
Screen refresh are exceptional at 3840 Hz for flicker-free video.
Off-axis viewing is an extraordinary 80° which means that pretty much everyone in the room can see the Series HB whether coming or going.

Performance

Colors are amazing with levels of red¹⁴ * green¹⁴ * blue¹⁴ that provide for a combined 4,400 billion colors and a silky 16,384 shades of grey.

Power

Rated power consumption is a modest 182 ~ 245 Watts per square meter and up to 700 Watts on full load depending on the model.
Variable voltage power supplies accept 100V ~ 240V. Our technicians will provide an electrical schematic specific to your project on request.

Installation

The Series HB features bump protection and an integral flexible design that allows up to 10 degrees of concave and convex settings. Attach to a frame or use hanging bars or ground supports. Power and data cabling is simple and intuitive with quick-release components.

Desay Series HB

The Series HB is the newest member of the Series H family, an award-winning design from Desay that has received a Red Dot Award and an iF World Design Award for 2019.

This panel is ideal for short-term rentals or permanent installations. It is designed for indoor use or outdoor use. It does not cut corners but instead provides 14-bit colour and 3840 Hz refresh rates. And it is priced at a level that you would not expect from a world-class manufacturer.

The extra-large dimensions of 500 * 1000 millimeters clearly save time on setup and tear-down, but weigh a little more with aluminum compared to the carbon fiber used in our touring panels. But at just 13 kilograms each, no one will be complaining. Unless that's just their nature.

With the Series HB, your rental pool will be awash in compliments. Choose a fine-pixel indoor panel in either a 2.9 or 3.9 millimeter pixel density or a fine-pixel outdoor panel in 3.9 or 4.8 millimeters.

If the HB is out on the job, anti-bump edges should help protect the corners from careless handling. But if not, spare modules can be swapped in and out in a matter of minutes. Seconds if you are in a hurry.

Connect the Series HB together for a flat surface or get creative with something curvy, right up to 10° concave and convex. Good to have options!

Content is handled by any of our NovaStar controllers, but we would suggest one of our VX4S controllers or the new Taurus Series.
